EbmS Induction

Day 1:
Motivational Talk
I was late for 30 minutes because of the freaking traffic jam. Gahhhhh. Damn it. Thank god Jaryl was in the same bus as me, I wouldn't know how to get to the attic on my own and I would most probably panic. :/
The programme is really boring and it's mostly for the ebm students. Well, we're the minority there after all, we couldn't do much. Sat beside Lester for today and he's really cool. He was showing off his yo-yo tricks and that's sick man. Boy, you've got some mad skills. Hahahaha. Chatted with my other course mates and got to know them better, like way better than the bonding camp. And I made a lot of new friends too!
Ke Wei, who is gonna study Japanese 101 too.
Biao Yi & Wen Kang duo, the shortest guy and the group admin, they're actually really nice people.
I feel more comfortable being in my course now. :) I hope to bond with everyone soon and find friends which I'm comfortable hanging out with everyday.
Anyway, we're going NeWater and FusionWorld tmr! YAY! I'm going to FusionWorld again! I went when I was in Sec sch and it's totally awesome! Whheeeeee~ I'm very excited for the trip tmrrrrr. :D

Day 2:
NeWater & FusionWorld Trip
It was AWESOME. During the FusionWorld Trip, we went to the same cool place we went to during Sec Sch. Most of the inventions were the same a year ago but some of them were different. For example, the lenovo phone using voice to unlock, the huggler (purrs when being pet or hugged), printing light on paper, recycled specs etc. Other than that, the hologram, game which requires concentration or brain wave, mirror which identifies gender, smart bed (detects heart & breathing rate & bed sores), fans which activates when there's people infront of them. Too bad photography and videography is not allowed.
After that was the NeWater Trip and NeWater is still pretty much the same thing except there's a interactive games section halfway during the trip now. Hahaha There's this big screen and multiple seats with a touch screen monitor infront for players to move their avatars. It's the only game which I enjoyed playing, others weren't as enjoyable or even actually be called a game. And then was the usual intro to how NeWater works, with all the reverse osmosis, uv filtration etc. Couldn't remember the exact process though.

Day 3:
Camp Challenge @ Sembawang
I'm really excited for the activities we're gonna do BUT, they just had to split u up into different groups. God dammit. Why can't they just keep ES to one group. GAH. All well, at least I made some friends from EBM. :)
Anyway, we did Trust Fall, High Elements, Laser Combat and other small games. We were supposed to do Archery and Geo-caching but due to the bad weather, we had small games instead. In the end, we were made to build a rollercoaster and play games such as Body parts to Colours. All in all, it was fun. Then was the long-awaited laser combat. It was AWESOME, just that I was shot dead way too early. Even though I wasn't shot directly, the laser would bounce off the wall and hit my sensors. Damn.

Day 4:
Motivational Talk
Boooooooooooooring. Hahahaha. The first few speakers were really boring and the last one had a really low voice but really cool activities to engage us. For example, complete 30 blank circles, moving a matchstick to change the donkey's direction and building a book shelf for patients. We had to build a prototype bookshelf out of egg trays, tape, ice cream sticks, cable tie and what-not for the patients. The presentation at the end for the book shelves were all super entertaining and funny. HAHAHAHA. Feng shui and other nonsensical and hilarious reasons.

Day 5:
NUS Trip
NUS is really huge. Before we got there, on the bus we all talked about lots of brain teasers. First, we had a lecture-like intro for the ESP (Engineering Science Programme) course there. Next, we were split up into 4 groups and had a tour around the engineering block and labs. We were taken to explore solar energy, nanotech, some really cool inventions such as the world's first circuit or something like that formed by humans as the wires. It's some really cool and awesome shit. There's also this world's first radio circuit using a very small light source. And after all this, we settled down by this small cafe-like shop and talked.
After it all ended, we went to purchase some books but it was sold out. Our Compro book was sold out. Dang. Now we have to make another trip there when there's stock.    :(
Then there's clique dinner @ Nex's Seoul Garden. It's really been a while since I've last seen the girls. We truly ate a lot, there's sushi, meat, ice cream and more meat. Hahaha. We sat there and lepak till it's closing time and finally we walked around for a bit and took pictures. :)
Yeah, it's quite blurry but we're all smiling. :D

Btw, I've missed the CCA Fiesta thinking that Friday's the last day and I panicked a little on Thursday night when I couldn't sign in to sign up for CCAs. But thankfully, I could still contact the CCA thru email and thus, I'm currently joining Shooting and Aikido. :)
