Poly 1.1.06

Monday:
EG! was cancelled because Ms Huang had to attend the graduation ceremony and thus, we're going to have our make-up lesson tmr from 4-5 when we're supposed to end tmr's lessons at 3.
Well, anyway, I was late for compro class, even Bing Yi was earlier than me. Wow. Anyway, we learnt switch which I can use it for my mini project, so I do not have to if else all the way. Hehehhe.
And then there's Eltech quiz which was pretty easy and I managed to do all the questions! YOOHOO! And I changed my answer for the last question at the last minute and the answer which I put was correct! Double YOOHOO! Hahahaha.
And after Eltech and the 2 hours lunch break which I went to Makan Place hoping that I would see Juliana but didn't, was EngMec and it's the Grumpy Cat's lecture all over again but this time, he decided that he'll heck care more and let whoever finished the tutorials off. And because I'm a lazy person who don't study at home, I'll have to finish the tutorials in class. Sigh.
And then there's my sister's graduation ceremony @ NYP so I went there to congratulate her and at the same time, GET FREE FOOOOOOOOD.

Hahahahaha. The food was nice, I mean, free food always taste good. Hahahaha. But the dessert wasn't as nice, especially the mini brownies. They taste disgusting.

Tuesday:
Physics, physics. Why is physics so damn confusing at poly level? Gah. And why does everyone keep teasing me. It's bullying okay! One more time and I'll just rage quit and leave. I'm fucking serious. I'm not afraid to walk out on everyone since no one stands by me all this while anyway.
Come at me, bitches.

Wednesday:
I'm sick but I don't wanna not go to school because there's EngMec quiz and IMRE visit and most importantly, Japanese class. >.< So I had to bear the sufferings of being a sickly person and go to school today. And Japanese Oral & Listening test is next week so I have to go for today's lesson. Sigh. What a bad luck. But EngMec quiz was pretty easy and I left halfway together with most of the class. Hahahaha. Suckers.
Took 74 back and I missed the stop I was supposed to get off because I overslept. So I alighted a few stops after where I was supposed to alight and went over to the other side of the road with my running nose and sat at the bus stop looking daze. And then, my father called and I told him that I overslept and have no idea where am I. And he decided to fetch me but I thought it would be better if I took a bus back to AMK hub since it's easier for him to pick me up. But my dad doesn't really checks him phone and only realises it after he called me when he reached AMK avenue 3. I'm sorry, dad.

Thursday:
Comiss today and we're supposed to have Show 'N' Tell today but Mrs Zaitoon decided to postpone it to next week because we're too unsure about what we're supposed to do. And she said it would be an one-minute Show 'N' Tell but she suddenly changed her mind and said that it should be a five minute speech.
So, since the 5 minutes speech is totally unheard of, Mrs Zaitoon decided to just forget about it and pushes it to next week and everyone will have to do a 5min speech. -.- How am I supposed to present a pair of drumsticks for 5 minutes?! I'm so screwed, and I think I'll help to advertise the performance that the alumni and the main band of AMKSB @ Gardens by the Bay during the last few moments of my speech. Hahahaha. Anyway, today's Comiss lesson was okay-ish, except that Mrs Zaitoon got angry with us because we didn't listen to her. Hmm, anyway, my dad fetched me back home after lesson and took me to the doctor downstairs. The doctor is really nice and she's not fierce at all. Hahahah. And I went in for the doctor's consultation alone. Woohoo. And she gave me a MC which I don't need because I'll be going to school tmr since I'm feeling much better than yesterday.
And there's ES society interview tmr! Oh no! I hate interviews and the only real interview that I have went for is the MTDC audition which the interview totally caught me by surprise. I thought that we're only supposed to perform our piece and sight-read the pieces and I totally didn't see the interview at the end coming.
So Mr Ramu (who is also our tutor at that time) asked me questions such as "Why do you wanna join MTDC?", and "You also received tutoring from me, so why still join MTDC?". Yes, it's almost the same questions but I had to think on the spot and answer him. Do you know how scary it was. OMG. (I know I side tracked a little, sorry. >.<)

Friday:
So I asked my dad to fetch me to school again because I know that I'll definitely be late if I don't. Sorry, dad, and thanks! :)
Compro today and I've completed all the assignments that we're supposed to do for this term. AW YEAH. All thanks to Yub and Joel that I'm able to complete it so quickly. Thanks a ton!
And then there's Physics and thankfully Ms Huang uploaded the tutorial questions and answers up onto MeL which in her case is Meow. Hahahaha. She's so cute, right? Anyway, since I don't really understand a single shit during Physics and also because I wasn't really listening and instead talking to Yub, I'm gonna download all the Physics tutorials and solutions and study them.
Come at me, Physics.
Ohh, and the ES society interview went pretty well. Actually, it's more like a causal chat because the interview is conducted by students so we chit-chatted a little at the end and maybe also due to the fact that I was the last interviewee today (since Yub couldn't make it). But I don't think I'll get in though, not gonna carry high hopes and just gonna cross my fingers.
And by the way, I tried to find the bus stop which my sec sch clique used to take when we went to ngee ann poly with the school but I couldn't remember how to get there. So Lester and I went to find it and we didn't manage to find any bus stop. Nooooooooo, can't take 852 back. :( Anyway, I'll not give up this easily, so I'll go and find it again next time.
And I cut my own fringe today. Hehehe.

#6YearsWithSHINee

It's the 25th of May! Thus, marking the 6 Years Anniversary ever since SHINee's debut stage. I wasn't a shawol 6 years ago but I have been one ever since I was Secondary 2 and I always will be. Idolising and chasing SHINee will also be part of my crazy youth and one of my memories when I look back at it in the future.
To SHINee, you guys are awesome! You guys will always be my favourite boys band! Love all your songs! Hehehehe.

Happy SHINee Day!

And I absolutely adore their true side:

SHINee dorks. Hahahaha.

Poly 1.1.05

Monday:
BCR day aka e-learning day! HOORAY! Don't have to wake up early in the morning to catch the early bus to school. Hahahaha.
EG1 BCR was okay and it's pretty much the only BCR lecture we had for the day because EngMec BCR lecture is just screwed up. And for EG1 we learnt TOA-CAH-SOH which is the one we learnt in Sec Sch just that they rephrased it so that it's more difficult for us to understand.
ComPro BCR didn't really work because we couldn't launch the room but the lecturer sent us the instructions on what to do and submit so ComPro BCR worked technically. And ComPro being my most favourite module of all, I done it with much joy and fun. Hahahaha.
Eltech Tutorial BCR was pretty much slacking session because the lecturer told to do questions which we had already gone through in class.
Then was the 2-hr break.
And there was supposedly EngMec lecture BCR but all of us couldn't launch the room so there's no EngMec lecture and instead, the lecturer told us to complete online assignment 3 which will be counted as our attendance. The lecturer should have tested the BCR launch room with all of us first, and we wouldn't have a make-up lecture. Damn, I rather go to school and have lessons.

Tuesday:
I reached school at 6.50am when lessons are starting at only 8am. This is because I thought there would be traffic jam on my way there but turns out that there's no traffic jam and it's a pretty smooth ride. -.- So then I spent my time doing Eltech exercises. :) So MecEng Lab was the first lesson so I had to climb the hill to block 47 for the lab practice. And guess what, I made it to block 47 by myself without getting lost (well, I was almost lost. Hahahah). Lab Practice was pretty screwed for us because we didn't read the instructions before doing the experiment. And we had to redo it for 2 times, gosh. But it's also pretty fun doing lab practices with my group mates. GROUP FOUR, WOOHOO.
And it was Eltech lecture which is boring as always. Hahahaha. Basically all the things are about circuits and how to calculate it's current, voltage, resistance etc.
And there's the-always-so-confusing physics lecture with 2D and 3D stuffs and vectors mixed together. Great.
 And this is a cycloid.
So, if there's a ball at the top of these lines, which one of them do you think the ball will reach the ground first? The straight one or the curved one.
It's the curved one, because it's a cycloid, since a cycloid gives the shortest time or something like that. (Plus, this cycloid thing is not included in the syllabus. Awesome.) Well, it's not that bad, at least he teaches us something new and interesting. :) I give him 12/10 thumbs up. Hahahaha

Wednesday:
EG! as usual and followed by EngMec (I finally am able to do the questions by myself and actually get the questions correct!). And after EngMec was EG! again which was the EG! quiz which was pretty easy. Hehehehe. :) And our class was actually really ahead of the schedule, in fact, we actually had too wait for our teacher to teach the chapter because we have already finished the exercises for the previous chapters. But seriously, EG! is just like Sec 4 Amaths all over again. Well anyway, since I had like 4 hours to spare before my Jap class starts so I spent it doing EngMec questions and watching my course mates programming a robot (it's not really a robot but like a car made out of Lego and light sensors to figure out by itself where to go). And then I went for dinner with them @ Munch which I didn't eat anything because I wasn't hungry. Also, the weather looked like it would rain any moment and I didn't have an umbrella AND my Jap class is up the hill at block 51. Well, fortunately for me, it didn't rain. Actually, even if it were to rain, there would be sheltered pathway all the way from Munch to Makan Place but I was didn't how. :p
Jap Jap Jap~ Awesome as always. And sensei said that there would be an oral test two weeks from now. Oh no. Better start revising.
Met Si Ming and Nicklas at the NP bus stop and they don't remember my name. -.- Well, whatever, I went home with them since they're also taking bus 74 and did a little catch up with them. It was a nice bus ride. Hehe.

Thursday:
IS day. OMG. I absolutely dislike thursdays. It's the most tiring day where there're two IS modules back to back. Anyway, for Innova, we did our prototype just today whereas other groups finished it like last last week. :p Ours was really simple, in fact, too simple. Hence, we decided to add in buttons to complicate our box. Haahaha. Innova is actually pretty slack tbh and it seems that it's pretty easy to score as well, since there is no exams for it, just assessments and doodles.
And then was Comiss. Well, there's supposed to be show and tell and we ran out of time. Phew. So, the show and tell will be postponed to next week and it'll be compulsory. >.< There're 2 things I absolutely hate about school:
1. Presentations
2. Interviews
God damn. Please let this be over soon.
Well, anyway, I did a quiz by fb today and this is the result:
Thanks a lot, quiz.
And since school starts at 2pm tmr + I'm drinking coffee late at night, this is what happens:
Oh god.

Friday:
Lunch with Dad @ the coffee shop downstairs and had Japanese food. Hahaha. I should seriously start eating food other than Japanese, but their Japanese food was really good! I give them 27/15 Miso soups. Hahahaha. And they even gave my kimchi! Awesome. After I was done with my lunch, Dad fetched me to school! Hooray! I think I'm more similar to my dad than my mum. Well, actually, I'm not very close to my mum. :/ I don't share secrets with my mum or dad or any of my family members. I keep them to myself most of the time or share them occasionally with my secret buddy. Maybe it's because I don't really trust anyone except for myself. All well.
Compro and Physics lessons today and it's fun! And since Yub finished his assignments as quickly as ever, he decided to tempt me with all the good food that he had eaten and taken a picture of. Thanks Yub. *sarcasm mode on*
Anyway, there's Environmental Ranger Movie Screening Today from 6:30 to ~8:30! WOOHOO! Free CCA point for watching Wall-E. Hahahaha. It's an awesome movie and it's like my 3rd time watching it already. :)

The Summit

Family Outing #2:
Soo, last Saturday we went to climb the Bukit Timah Hill at about 5pm. This is really impromptu and thus the late timing. Wasn't really in the mood to climb but oh well, some quality time spent with the family is no harm done. Here are some pictures because pictures speak a thousand words and I'm too lazy to describe. Sumimasen.

The air over there is really fresh and natural, it also have the taste of trees and leaves. Hahaha. The first picture was taken out of impulse just right above my head. You don't even have to find the angle to take the best photograph because every angle will give you a magnificent photo. Trust me. It'll look as abstract and as simple as the photo I took anywhere you are in the nature reserve.
And we saw monkeys on our way to the summit! Hehehehe.
And finally:

THE SUMMIT! :D
The Bukit Timah Hill wasn't really high to begin with so we could reach the summit within an hour. Like hey, it's height is only 163 metres, so it's a piece of cake. Hahaha.

And after the climb, we went to grab our dinner at Beauty Plaza which is located somewhere in Clementi and somewhere near my school. It's a pretty old building because there's still brick walls and old-style flooring. Anyway, we had Korean BBQ and it's awesome! The shop is opened by Koreans too!
Time for some pictures again! :)
The BBQ  plate was slated to one side so as to drain the oil from the meat to the lower side and into a container. Hehehe. So much meat. WOOHOO.
Not to worry because we wrap the meat with vegetables and garlic and kimchi and rice so it's healthy! Not too meaty! :) IT'S DAMN GOOD. YOU SHOULD TRY IT. ARE YOU DROOLING RIGHT NOW? GOOD, BECAUSE I AM EVEN AFTER I HAD MY DINNER. YES, IT'S THAT GOOD. Hahahaha.

Poly 1.1.04

Monday:
I took 852 to school today and I like it because I don't have to change buses or train midway and it's just one long bus ride there. And since I'm taking it from the interchange, I'll be able to get a seat. Heh. So unless I'm running late (which I'll take MRT to Clementi then bus to NP), I'll be taking 852 from now onnnnn. :)
School as per usual and there's compro today! WOOHOO. I love compro. Hahahaha. Our teacher made us try out exercise io5_3.c which is just a pain in the ass but it's was really fun trying to figure out how to make it work. Being a blur sotong, I took quite long (longer than average people) to figure it out and also, Jaryl and me kept on doing trial and error but it doesn't seem to help much. And finally, I've decided to seek help from Yub who is like an expert in this field. Hahahaa And so, under his guidance, I've managed to do this!
Mission accomplished! Hahaha.
Ohh, and I saw Amanda during lunch and she thought that I went to some JC. Hehehe. Surprise!~

Tuesday (Vesak's Day):
Public holidayyyyyyyy~ No one in the class decided to meet up nor have an outing together so I went along with my parents to Science Centre & Mount Faber & Vivo. :D I haven't been to Science Centre for years and by the time we got there, it's already closing soon. :( Well, there's always a next time right? Anyway, after having our lunch @ the Mac in Science Centre, we went to Mount Faber because I didn't wanna go Haw Par Villa again. It's my first time there at Mt Faber and the view is magnificient. Ohh, and we took a selfieee. Hehehe.
Yeap, I love this photo. :) <3
Ohh, and look at the beautiful sunset. :)

Wednesday:
I think I'll fail EngMec. :/ I've gotta practice moreee and complete the tutorials. So after EG1, I went with Brandon to sign up for the Rotaract Club. Yay! Gotta get more CCA points and do some CIP work. And after that, lunch @ Munch and this time, I tried the Ayam Pandang which is said to be the best and a must-try @ Munch.
Japanese class is as awesome as always. :D The teacher is so damn nice and my classmates are all so funny. I was practically smiling or laughing or reciting Japanese words for the whole lesson. :) I'm glad I didn't change my Japanese class.
Sleeping late because there's only Comiss tmr which starts at 12pm. Yay.

Thursday:
Comiss today and it's pretty slack. Hehehehe. Met Wen jie & Yue Yang & Wai Jing on my way to the teaching hub and they were rushing through their outline. And Wen Jie copied my topic. -.- Gahhhh. Anyway, we did some critical thinking exercises and it's like an entertainment session because Renzo's group did the claim 'Robert is an American' and one of the supporting statements made up by one of the groups was 'He has a big *'. Hahahahahaha. And there's another one, the claim was 'Pets should be allowed in shopping centre' and one of the arguments was 'No, Jaryl cannot go inside shopping malls'. Hahahahaha. We see what you did there.
At the end of the lesson, Ms Zaitoon Baker said that we have to do a Show'n'Tell next week with an item which represents us. Hmm, and I'm thinking of two options right now:
1. The pair of drumsticks which I got from my juniors
2. The white tiger stuffed toy I got from my parents @ Zoo.

Friday:
Trampoline Park @ Amped Jurong with Yub, Robert, Renzo, Ke Wei and Lester! WOOHOO. Fun and bouncy as hell. :)
And lunch @ Jem KFC after that. Yub then decides to show me some really weird and random and fucked-up vids:

Ohh man, what's seen cannot be unseen.
And then we headed back to NP for lessons. We originally intended t take the free ice cream but the queue was really long and we are running late for lessons too. All well, too bad for us huh. And even though, we didn't queue for the ice cream, we were still late. Hahaha. Compro is as fun as ever and instead of waiting for the teacher to explain finish, I did what Yub always do, which is to start on the assignment first since everything it's quite self-explanatory with the textbook. Thus, we were well ahead of others. Teehee.  And then physics is just OMG. Those formulas look so foreign. I'm so screwed.
Anyway, we collected our ES shirt after lessons and there's shooting bonding day from 6:30 to 8:30 but it dragged onto 9. All in all, the games were pretty fun but we were really awkward with each other and the balloon game at the end was too draggy too. BUT it's fun! :)

Wednesday 14 May 2014

Red.

I blush easily.
My cheeks are always rosy.
My face turns red easily when I laugh real hard.
I get embarrassed easily too.
Because my skin is thin.
You can easily see the veins from the skin of my palm and arm.
And it's not like I can do anything about it.
What do you want from me anyway.
Tease me?
Make fun of me?
Make things even more difficult for me?
Or is it all of the above?
Well, whatever.
It's not like you'll stop since you're having so much fun teasing me.
I like to help people when they encounter problems but at the end of the day, who'll help me?
What am I supposed to do anyway.
Am I supposed to fight back and make things sour between us,
Or should I just laugh it away and pretend that I'm okay with it so that our friendship still stay the same.
What should I dooooooooooooooooooooooo.

Sunday 11 May 2014

Sat Sat Saturday

  • My package finally arrived! I've ordered a cotton sweat shirt and a pair of jeans, but the jeans was a little too loose. Sigh, the disadvantages of online shopping. Well, at least the sweatshirt is still as awesome as it looks online. Hehehe.
  • So, since today's Mothers' Day, my mum requested that I cooked up something for her and I've decided to go for the easiest one. Zha Jiang Miannnnnn~ The style of cooking is really similar to pasta except that the sauce is not tomato sauce. In conclusion, the noodle is edible and the taste is not bad (it has the Zha Jiang Mian flavour in it - the salty and savoury taste). But I think it was too oily. I've put too much oil. Oops.
  • Mothers' Day Celebration - Skipped Alumni Band Prac : So we decided to go to Chinatown to have dinner as our Mothers' Day Celebration. We walked around those streets selling super duper cheap souvenirs and stuffs which were like 6 for $10. Hahaha. Then we walked through 美食街 to look for good food but everything looks good there and also since my mum couldn't decide which to eat, we had to walk through it again. When we were walking through 美食街 for the second time, my mum suggested we go an empty so that we can sit inside for the air-con (because my sis was complaining how hot the weather is even though she was already wearing thin clothing). And so, we went into this quite empty restaurant and we ordered our food. Then there's this green tea which they sold it for $5. We expected that the green tea would probably be good in both quality and quantity since it costs 5 bucks but in the end, we got ONE CAN OF HEAVEN AND EARTH GREEN TEA. WOW. FOR FIVE BUCKS. But the food was nice, so is their chinese tea. Ohh, and while we were waiting for the food to arrive, I played Don't tap the while tile on my sis's phone and I beat her high score for Arcade and Rush. MUAHAHAHAHAH.

Saturday 10 May 2014

Poly 1.1.03

Monday:
Lessons as usual till 5 and then there's Aikido meeting afterwards @ 5.45pm. And, there's surprisingly quite a lot of people from ES who signed up for Aikido. There's Vevek & Robert & Biao Yi & Wen Kang & Brandon, thus, we all went for dinner together. We were brought to Tanglin CC's Dojo and we watched how the seniors did their training with sensei.
Overall:

  • The discipline of Aikido is fairly high, everyone must respect the sensei and follow his orders.
  • I can barely hear the sensei because of the large dojo and the amount of people present in the dojo (since sensei is not used to teaching large group of people, thus his voice isn't very projected).
  • I had microsleeps in-between because I could barely hear the sensei and I was really tired. But I woke up when we did some exercises together.
  • The moves are really cool but hard to master, we have to move fast and quick.
  • The prices are more expensive than shooting. :(
Conclusion:
I'm not gonna join Aikido Club. I'm sorry, Khin. :/
After the meeting, it was still raining and since Khin and Angel do not have an umbrella, I lent them mine while I shared an umbrella with WK. And then I went home with Brandon on 132 and on the bus ride, we exchanged our views and both of us think that we're most probably not gonna join Aikido. Hahahah. Instead, we'll maybe join some CIP club which is event-based and gain some CCA points. Teehee.

Tuesday:
Compro book is out of stock againnnnnnnnn. GAHHHHHH

Wednesday:
EG1 was really fun today (both the tutorial and lecture)! :) Ke Wei also let me listened to the eletronica songs in his phone and the songs were all awesome!
It's really nice, right? I really don't understand why some people doesn't like this type of genre/music. Well, I guess different people have different taste huh.
EG2 peeps gotta come from 5 to 8 because they gotta attend a lecture on complex numbers but EG1 peeps need not attend because we're gonna learn it in our modules. Hahahahaha.
Anyway, I had BJ101 from 6 to 8 and it's super fun. BJ101 classes have always been fun to me, although it's only the second lesson. Hahahaha. Ohh, and I got to know 2 other classmates who are like super duper pro in Japanese alr. They're LeRoy and Jason, hardcore anime fans. Hahahaha. Well, although they're really talkative during class till one of the classmates could not take it, they're nice and funny people. :) Ohh, and there's also Chia Lin, a very sweet and kawaii girl who owns a super duper cute SnK file. Hehehehe.

http://instagram.com/p/nsGr4-gyy4/ - Just a random picture taken because JingYu stole JingYi's phone. Hahaha

Thursday:
First 8Innova lesson and it's pretty boring. The things that we have to do are very interesting but I don't see why we have to spend 4 hours on building a prototype and some sketching. Well, anyway, I like having my brain think of creative ideas.
Nah, just kidding, it's tiresome. And that's why I'm in ES, because there would be a definite answer to almost all the question, unlike languages or humanities. I don't like vague questions where there is no right or wrong, it's too vague for me. Bleh. Well, anyway, we were released an hour earlier because our lecturer is really nice. :) Btw, the whole ES were separated and there's only me and Wen Jie in the same class. :/
After that was Comiss for 5 hours straight. :/ (I hate Thursdays.) But today's comiss was generally okay since I'm a good girl and I've completed my homework. Heehehe. And my teacher played the song 'Happy' in class today because she said she has not listened to it before. Wow.

Friday:
School starts @ 2 today but I'm going to school @ 12 because I was supposed to meet up with Yub, Joel, Ke Wei and Lester for a slacking session. But before that, I ate instant pasta for breakfast which was awesome, it was super cheesy. Yay, thumbs up! :)
It looks something like this but instead of mushrooms and herbs, it's hotdogs and hams. Heh.
And after breakfast, I made a call to the local network courier to track my stuff. It's stated that it has reached Singapore on 2nd May but the package hasn't reached me yet, so I'd better check on it. And they said that they'll deliver the package to my house from 9am to 1pm! Yippie! After checking my package, I went to my sec sch to collect my testimonial which was due for so damn long. I was supposed to collect it before 30 April but, oh well, I couldn't find the time to. Sorry. They're probably having their mid-year exams right now. Hahahahaha. Suckers. And here I am, enjoying my poly life. :)
After the collection, went straight to school and there's so many people in the long room, year 3s and 2s were there too.
Anyway, since D2 peeps have not had their lunch yet, I went to accompany them to poolside and came back to ES long room to slack even moreeeee. And we played Resistance again but no one except Biao Yi believed me that I'm a Resistance. Gah. Damn it. They rather trust some senior from year 2 than their year 1 friend. :(
Anyway, compro lessons are really fun! I LOVE COMPRO. :) 2 thumbs up!
Physics lesson was okay, it's like Amaths + Physics. There's differentiation and acceleration and everything else mixed together. Thus, it's a bit confusing for a blur-sotong like me. :/
Ohh, and I finally bought my compro book. FINALLY.

Friday 2 May 2014

Poly 1.1.02

Monday:
Lessons start today officially and it's not that heavy at all. I was actually late for 15 minutes for my first lesson. Oops. Anyway, most of the topics are the ones we've learnt in Sec 4, except for ComPro which is very new to me. And, its also very interesting, we learnt about coding and programming. AWESOME STUFF. At first I had some problem trying to build solution but it's fixed thanks to Jaryl. To be honest, I really like my class because most of my classmates are all sociable and friendly. :) YAY. We should seriously have a class photo.

Tuesday:
Had Eltech lab practice today and it's fun as hell. Hahahaha. We learnt how to use the big bulky voltmeter, I guess, and the bread board. It's really fun building the circuit and testing out those tiny resistors and slotting them into the bread board. I wanna have lab practice again! :)
There's make-up lesson for Comiss from 3-5 and I'm the only girl in that class. Damn. Why am I always alone and the other 3 girls always grouped together? Gah. Anyway, we have to do up a research presentation and presentations have always been one of my biggest fears. So, good luck to me. :X

Wednesday:
So, I tried to find an alternate route to school. So I went to Marymount MRT station and walked to the opposite bus stop according to gothere.sg to board bus 52. HOWEVER, there isn't a bus 52 there. Thus, I sorta panicked. And then I checked gothere.sg on my mobile and it shows that I have to board it from a bus stop called 'Opp St Theresa Church'. And so, I walked around Marymount station to find that holy bus stop but Marymount is surrounded by jungles and trees and there isn't much taxis around. Hence, I told myself to calm down and tie up my freaking hair because I was sweating heavily. I walked to another bus stop and it took me about 5 minutes just to get there and there isn't bus 52 or any other buses which will lead to NP. I looked around and there's a bus stop across this huge road and it looked similar to one of the 74 bus stops and so, driven by desperation to reach school asap, I went for it and took bus 74. And the bus 52 there doesn't even stop at NP. Thanks gothere.sg.
After the lessons, we went to Studio 27 since Jing Yi booked a room there. Lester & Ke Wei & Lionel & me went with Jing yi to play X-boxxxxxxx. I was really excited because I've never really played X-box with friends before. (Yes, I know, I've led a boring life up until now) And it turns out to be really fun! :)
After that, we went back to ES centre and the seniors there introduced us a really cool card game. It's called The Resistance. And I'm too lazy to elaborate on how awesome the game is. Hahahah, sorry.
And then, I went for the BJ101 yesterday from 6 to 8 and it's really fun (and I made new friends, woohoo)! Although sensei was speaking in Japanese 90% of the time and I'm just a beginner learning Japanese. Thus, I don't understand what she's talking about most of the time. Anyway, we learnt about what's 1 to 10 in Japanese and Jap Greetings. I'm so gonna greet my course mates in Japanese on Friday. Hahahaha. If only I remember to do so.
It was awesome, kinda.

Thursday:
It's Labour Day which means it's a public holiday and thus there's no school! Hahahaha. Hence, I stayed at home and finish up on some of the tutorials and homework that I have. Didn't go out or anything because I'm anti-social and would like to spend some time playing some computer games and watch Japanese dramas.

Friday:
I went out at 10 am because I thought lessons start at 1 today but it's actually 2. So I have lots of time to spare, hence, I went to walk around Northpoint and look for a suitable laptop bag at the same time. And I bought one from Punk Star, it's blue in colour! :D I'm really in love with the colour blue. Only blueeeeeeee~
After the lessons, there's shooting briefing at 6:30 @ LT51D and I've made a new friend even before the briefing started. Hahahaha. I'm awesome and I know it. She's like my soul sister, we have lots of things in common. For example, she's also in engineering, she likes Physics too and she has also signed up for Aikido! WOOHOO. This is the first time I've found someone who has so much things in common as me. Hehehe. But she's from Myanmar and she's two years older than me and her English is not that good either. Not to worry Khin, I'll be here guiding and teaching you, I'll protect you. Hahaha.
Anyway, went home with the other Jaryl since he has also signed up for shooting so I thought since we're gonna be both coursemates and CCA mates, we should not be awkward around each other. Haha.

Adjusting

Lessons just started this week and it's not too bad. Actually, I really like poly life. :) There's breaks during lectures instead of back-to-back lessons in JC, and the canteen is not bad, and there's air-con everywhere. Hahahaha. The facilities are really good too. The lecturers and teachers are both friendly and nice. But there's just 2 big problem are freshies like me.
1. Poly is just too big, I might get lost if I were to walk about alone. :/ Also, there's like tons of lecture rooms, labs and classrooms, and I don't even know where's the block located at.
2. There're so many tutorials here and there and all of them are somewhat everywhere. It's either in MeL or MoL or some other weird places. The tutorials questions are manageable, the problem here is that it's so difficult to keep track of things and it's difficult to find them too. Also, some of the tutorials questions are in the notes/textbooks.
Other than that, everything's fine. :)
